Fascinating Fire.

I have always found fire mesmerising…

I love fire. From the lighting of a lamp to giving regard to the supreme being to making food to eat and for thought, fire has been an integral part of my life.

The fire itself, as an entity, is full of twists and turns, good and bad.

Enjoy this piece I wrote that takes a turn and comment if you understood the metaphor :)

He said he was fire,

And so was his attire.

Voice, like honey

Presence, more than any money

Perhaps, he was the one

From whom I wouldn't run.

To be with him was jolly.

But then I realised my folly.

I was water.

I would stop him from his ritual slaughter.
